CSV processing

Files selected in the Shopify CSV validator are read and processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. Merch Preflight does not upload, store, or transmit the contents of those files.

Website and hosting data

Merch Preflight does not currently use accounts, advertising cookies, behavioral advertising, or a file-upload service. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.

Privacy-first analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Its lightweight browser beacon may collect page views, visits, page-load timing metrics, hostname and path, referring site, general country, device type, browser, operating system, and navigation type.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage, does not collect URL query strings, and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across websites for analytics. We use these reports to improve the website, not for behavioral advertising or individual user profiles.

Messages you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message, and other information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business records. Please do not email confidential catalog files or personal customer data.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that operate the website and email delivery, or disclosed when required to comply with law, protect the service, or prevent abuse. We retain support messages only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

Advertising and future changes

We do not currently serve advertising. If advertising, accounts, additional analytics, or server-side features are added, this policy and any required consent experience will be updated before those features are enabled.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information you have sent directly to us, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
