TERMS

Use the report as a pre-flight check.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

By using Merch Preflight, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

No guarantee of import success

Merch Preflight identifies deterministic formatting and data-quality issues. Shopify may apply store-specific rules, remote resource checks, taxonomy requirements, app-managed data, or platform changes that this tool cannot reproduce. A clean report does not guarantee a successful or consequence-free import.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing all findings and downloaded changes, backing up your existing catalog, and using Shopify’s own import preview before committing an import.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or circumvent its security, use it to violate applicable law or third-party rights, or represent that Merch Preflight or its reports are endorsed by Shopify.

Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Features, validation rules, and these terms may change as platform formats and the service evolve.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merch Preflight will not be liable for lost data, lost revenue, failed imports, business interruption, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Trademarks

Merch Preflight is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc.
